1. Who we are

Noviq Studios is operated by [Your full legal name], a sole proprietorship based in the Netherlands (KvK registration in progress). Contact: hellonoviqstudios@gmail.com. These terms apply both to your use of noviqstudios.nl (the "Site") and to any web design project you engage us for (a "Project").

2. What we offer

As described on the Services page, we design and build hand-coded websites and landing pages, redesign existing sites, write copy, and publish on GitHub Pages under the client's own domain. We do not build web shops, booking or payment systems, or member/account areas — if your project needs one of these, we'll say so upfront and suggest what fits instead.

3. Proposals and starting a Project

Submitting the proposal form is a request for a quote, not a booking or a contract. A Project only begins once we've agreed scope, timeline and price in writing (normally by email). Timelines given on this Site — including the one-week process on the Process page — describe our usual pace once a Project has started and content has been received; they are estimates, not guarantees, and can shift if content, feedback or approvals are delayed on either side.

4. Your responsibilities

• Provide the text, logo, photos and any other material the Project needs, and the rights to use them.
• Give feedback within a reasonable time so the schedule we agreed can hold.
• Make sure anything you ask us to publish doesn't infringe someone else's rights or break the law.

5. Revisions

Unless we've agreed something different in writing, a Project includes two rounds of revisions on the design, as described on the Services page. Further changes can usually be made, but may be quoted separately if they go beyond the agreed scope.

6. Payment

There is no fixed price list — every Project gets a written proposal with a fixed price. Unless we agree otherwise in writing for a specific Project, payment is due on completion: we invoice once the site is delivered, and the invoice is payable within [14] days. We reserve the right to withhold final publication of the site until an overdue invoice is settled.

7. Ownership

Once a Project is paid in full, the finished website's source code becomes yours: it lives in your own GitHub repository, on your own domain, and you're free to move it elsewhere at any time. Until final payment, Noviq Studios retains ownership of the work delivered. We may show finished Projects in our own portfolio and case studies unless you ask us in writing not to.

9. Liability

We build every site to the standards described on the Standards section of this Site, but we can't guarantee specific business outcomes (such as sales, bookings or search rankings), since these depend on factors outside our control. To the extent permitted by Dutch law, our liability for any claim relating to a Project is limited to the amount paid for that Project, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in [your district/city], without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules that may apply.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; the version in force for a Project is the one current when that Project's written agreement was made.
