How Noviq Studios collects, uses and protects the personal data of people who visit this site or request a proposal.
Last updated: 14 September 2026
1. Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how Noviq Studios, operated by [Your full legal name] ("Noviq Studios", "we", "us"), a sole proprietorship based in the Netherlands (KvK registration in progress — number to follow), handles personal data collected through noviqstudios.nl (the "Site"). Contact: hellonoviqstudios@gmail.com.
2. What we collect, and why
The proposal form
The "Request a proposal" form asks for your name and email (required), and optionally your business name, current website, project needs, page count, timeline, meeting preference and a free-text message. This data is used only to understand your project and prepare a written proposal — nothing more.
The form does not send your data to a Noviq Studios server or database. Submitting it opens your own email application with the details pre-filled in a message addressed to hellonoviqstudios@gmail.com; the message is only sent if you choose to send it from your own email client. From that point, it's handled like any other business email — read by us, replied to, and kept as a normal correspondence record.
The chat assistant
Questions you type into the chat widget in the corner of the Site are, where available, sent to Anthropic's Claude service to generate a reply, using your own browser session with claude.ai — Noviq Studios does not receive or store a copy of that conversation. When a live connection isn't available, the widget answers from a small fixed set of built-in responses entirely in your browser, and nothing is sent anywhere.
What we do not collect
We do not use analytics or advertising cookies at this time (see the Cookie Policy), we do not ask for payment details through the Site, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
3. Legal basis for processing
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we process the data described above on the basis of your consent (ticking the consent box on the proposal form) and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services.
4. Who else sees your data
- GitHub Pages hosts this Site. Like most web hosts, GitHub's infrastructure logs standard technical data (such as IP address and browser type) for every visitor, for security and reliability — this happens at the hosting level, independently of anything built into the Site itself. See GitHub's own privacy documentation for details.
- Anthropic processes chat messages as described above, only when you use the chat widget and a live connection is available.
- Fonts, styling and scripts on this Site are all self-hosted — no data is sent to Google Fonts or any other third-party CDN just from loading a page.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone else except where the law requires it.
5. How long we keep it
Proposal enquiries and related email correspondence are kept for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you and, if you become a client, for the duration of the engagement plus the period required for our own bookkeeping obligations. You can ask us to delete correspondence that isn't needed for those purposes.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to ask us to: show you the personal data we hold about you; correct it if it's inaccurate; delete it; restrict or object to our processing of it; and receive a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email hellonoviqstudios@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
7. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data — for example if we add analytics tools — we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above, and where required, ask for your consent again.
